Treatment Protocol

Postural assessment – What is it and why is it needed?

Postural assessment is a series of photos and videos and of course paperwork completed with you to be assessed by your myotherapist to include the Galen Comfort scale to ensure all areas of discomfort are identified.

Postural assessment is used to pinpoint muscular problems or injuries as well as associated compensatory issues in the dog, this is to enable a specialised and targeted massage treatment to enable your dog to live a more comfortable life.

3 massage sessions – 30mins to 1hr long depending on how much your dog tolerates per session. This will be completed in my treatment room water will always be available and a treatment mat shall be provided by the therapist. Positive PACT protocol shall be followed by the therapist at all times

Post initial 3 (recommended) sessions – your therapist will advise you on how regularly upkeep sessions are recommended usually every 4-6 weeks if improvements have been made.
